Arthur está encargado de descubrir el paradero del cantante glam-rock Brian Slade, el ídolo de su juventud, que fingió su propia muerte para retirarse de los escenarios. Arthur deberá remover hechos del pasado que el tiempo y el dinero, habían logrado tapar.

Arthur walks home through a blue-gel twilight. Pulling out we reveal a grey industrial landscape, emptied of colour and life. A small line of National Guards Patrol the Area.
